Research Interests
Business management and marketing.
Personal Information
Dr. Coale's major teaching thrusts are in off-campus conference and workshop
teaching formats. Beginning in 1969, he has taught subject matter workshops
dealing with management development, employee motivation, financial management,
and marketing management. In this coherent program, he has developed extension
leadership for the food industry, tested and implemented new management strategies,
and provided new mechanisms for product diversification in seafood and other
commodity markets.
Dr. Coale has taught a limited number of courses in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics in agribusiness management, personnel management, and a section of the Food Science off-campus course--Utilization of Marine Food Products.
